In accordance with CSR 10-11.010, the state mileage allowance shall be computed at a rate not to exceed the Internal Revenue Service standard mileage rate. The state fleet mileage reimbursement rate reflects the average cost of operating a mid-size sedan in the state vehicle fleet. The rates per mile in cents for the most recent fiscal years are:

State Vehicular Travel Policy
The State Vehicular Travel Policy provides that agencies and employees use the Trip Optimizer or other equivalent method to ensure they use the most cost effective vehicle option. An approved equivalent method is a waiver of the need to print the Trip Optimizer when the roundtrip mileage is 80 miles or less.
